Squad Member details


Shane O'Donoghue joined the NT Police on 24 January, 1974 and began 3 months training at the old Police Barracks, Darwin. He was then stationed variously in Casuarina General Duties, Darwin Traffic Unit (Breath Analysis Unit) and also relieved at Katherine for a couple of months. He was on duty at the Casuarina Police Station during the night of Cyclone Tracy on Christmas Eve 1974 and the immediate aftermath. He resigned in June 1979.
