The Gunbalunya (Oenpellie) station is located at 18 Jabiru Oenpelli Road, Gunbalanya. The area around Gunbalanya is known as Stone Country, a name inspired by the spectacular Arnhem Land escarpment. The community is situated near the East Alligator River. Approximately 60 klm's northeast of Jabiru in Eastern Arnhem Land and approximately 320 klm's from Darwin. You have to cross the famous Cahill's Crossing to get there.
